Dr Krishna
MBBS, DCH (Dip. Child Health), MRCGP, FRACGP.
Dr Krishna graduated in Medicine in 1998 and undertook post-graduate training in Paediatrics (child health) from 2000 to 2004 in India. He subsequently moved to the UK and worked in Paediatrics for nearly 4 years before training to become a General Practitioner (GP).
Dr. Krishna’s GP training was in the East Midlands region and following qualification, he had been working as a GP since 2013 in West Yorkshire, UK. Having made Perth his new home, he joined Champion Medical centre in October 2017, bringing a wealth of international experience and knowledge to our medical centre and the Bertram community.
He is passionate about all areas of family practice with special interest and added training in paediatrics (child heath), chronic disease management and in particular, diabetes. He also believes in providing holistic care to his patients. When asked what he loves the most about being a family doctor, Dr Krishna says, “I enjoy the opportunity to participate in the care of varied patient groups and it is very satisfying to be able to provide continuity of care for my patients”
Dr. Krishna is happily married to his wife who is a Dentist and has a young son. He enjoys playing badminton, watching movies and cooking in his spare time.
He is looking forward to continuing his relationship with the Bertram community and in providing high quality health care.
