The Annual Influenza (flu vaccine) is recommended for everyone over the age of 6 months. Getting vaccinated against the flu every year helps protect you and your community.

Please note that children under 10 years who are receiving their first ever flu vaccine require 2 doses of the vaccine, 4 to 8 weeks apart.

Eligibility for the government-provided flu vaccine includes children between 6 months- 5 years, pregnant women, individuals over 65, and people with certain medical conditions.
Anyone over age of 6 months can have Influenza vaccination, but Government funded free FLU vaccinations have certain age group eligibility as stated above.

Yes, flu vaccines are available for those not covered by the government program, with a small out of pocket expense which is charged privately apart from your consultation.
